Christmas tree made from a plastic bottle. How to make a Christmas tree from plastic bottles Christmas tree from plastic

Today we bring to your attention the process of making a large holiday tree from simple plastic bottles Green colour. This tree is collapsible, so it can contain any number of tiers (only a longer "stem" is required). It can be added annually on a tier and after a few years you will get a big fluffy beauty around which your children will dance in circles.

To make a Christmas tree from plastic bottles, you must:

Plastic bottles of green color (1.3 liter bottles took about 30 pieces here);

Steel part ("rod") of the desired length (here about 0.5 m, with an approximate diameter of 0.5 cm);

Single-core insulated aluminum wire (cross-section 2.5mm2);

Christmas tree stands;

Scissors, thermal gun;

Christmas tree from plastic bottles step by step:

Take a bottle and cut off the middle part from it, as in photo 2-3. Then cut this part of the bottle in a spiral with scissors, cut a strip about 2 centimeters wide (photo 4).

Next, you need to bend one edge about 0.5 cm along the entire length of the strip, as in photo 5-6. This side will help set the direction for the spruce needles (needles), and also serve as a limiter for cutting "needles". Cut a strip of fringe, about 0.1 cm wide (photo 7-8).

Then start creating spruce branches. Let's make a “top” for the Christmas tree, for which purpose wrap a strip of plastic around the “rod” (about 8 cm long) and glue it with a heat gun (apply glue to the “rod”, otherwise the workpiece may deform from high temperature) (photo 9). Next, twist a small piece of fringe and glue it inside the blank (photo 10). Then wrap the "rod" in a spiral with a strip of fringe (photo 11). When one strip is over, take another and continue gluing (photo 12-13).

After making the top, make the first tier of branches, which will consist of three short parts (a branch with an approximate length of about 7-8 cm). Make a wire frame as shown in photo 14, connect it with a plastic ring (photo 15-16).

Start wrapping the "twigs" by analogy with the top (photo 17). After creating all the branches - twist the “needles” and the main stem (photo 18-19). As a result, you should get two parts, as in photo 20.

Make the third detail of the future Christmas tree, remote. At first, it was made too high, so it was moved to the bottom of the herringbone and the part was made smaller. In total, four distances were used for this tree: Upper - approximately 0.5 cm; the second is about 0.6 cm; the third is 7 cm; bottom - 8 cm. Make "distances" by analogy with making the crown, just do not close the top hole (photo 21). The herringbone will at this stage look like photo 22.

Next, make the second tier of branches, which will be wider than the first and will already include four branches (approximately 9 cm long), each of which will have two side branches. The length of the main branches turned out to be about 9 cm (photo 23-24).

Wrap the frame, starting with the smallest branches, then the main ones, and ending with the trunk (photo 25-26). Under the influence of hot glue, the plastic heats up and takes on a rather plastic shape, thanks to this, at the junctions of the branches, it is very easy to set the direction of the needles for each branch (photo 27-29).

The central part of the stem before masking with needles looks like in photo 30, and after masking as in photo 31. Next, you need to make a second distance piece (photo 32).

This is followed by the manufacture of the third tier, with an approximate length of branches of about 10 cm (20 cm in diameter) (photo 33). Finally, make the lower tier (branches 15 cm long (30 cm in diameter)) and the lower distance (photo 34).

It remains only to install everything on a stand! If you wish, you can make any number of tiers, while each subsequent tier should be proportionally wider than the previous one - so you can get a tall and elegant Christmas tree.

A Christmas tree made of plastic bottles is ready!

Based on materials from the site: girlsschool.ru

At the bottom there should be the largest bottles (2 and 1, 5 liter, in the middle - liter, and above 0, 5 and 0.3 liter bottles. If you have bottles of the same volume, then adjust the length of the "branches" by cutting strips to the desired length.

In the bottom left, make a hole, which is secured at the lower end of the stick with a plastic bottle stopper (you can hammer in a nail for strength).

On the upper end of the stick, put the last, smallest part with the neck up and screw the green plug onto the neck, also securing it with a nail for strength.

A little patience, perseverance, diligence and the forest beauty is ready!

These trees can be used as a New Year's decoration for your homes!

Method 2. It takes a minimum of time and expense to make such a Christmas tree. A master class on making a Christmas tree from plastic bottles will tell in detail how to make such an original New Year's craft

To make a decorative Christmas craft: a Christmas tree from plastic bottles, you will need the following:

  1. Plastic bottles - 3 pcs;
  2. Scotch;
  3. A sheet of thick paper, ideally a Whatman paper (A4);
  4. Scissors;
So, we cut the bottle as shown in the photo. That is, it is necessary to cut off the bottom and neck so that a straight pipe from the bottle remains.
Next, you need to make blanks for the branches. In order for the tree to have a conical shape, the workpieces must have different sizes. That is, you need to achieve the following:
Cut each plastic bottle lengthwise into 3 equal parts and only then adjust their dimensions so that each subsequent tier is slightly smaller than the previous one. Then each workpiece must be "dismantled". The neck of one of the bottles will serve as a stand for our future New Year's craft.
The next step is to fold the Whatman paper into a tube. We insert into the bottleneck ...
... and secure with tape.
Now it remains to fix each tier of the tree with tape in a circle and a small New Year's craft: the tree is ready with your own hands!

You can decorate the top of our Christmas tree with a homemade Christmas tree toy, or make the completion of the Christmas tree as we did.

If you want to make a Christmas tree from plastic bottles more fluffy, such as in the photo, when making a Christmas tree, the needles need to be cut as thin as possible (more often).

By the way, the Christmas tree looks quite creative with larger "branches" - a master class from the site of the Country of Masters.

We cut the bottle in the same way as in the previous version into 3 parts, only making cuts in a circle towards the center, straight.

In the center, a puncture is made with an awl and the needles are bent up and down in order. In the lid from the cream or mineral water, a puncture is made into which a skewer of the required length is inserted.
The parts are strung in descending order, a large bead is placed on top of the glue. The Christmas tree can be decorated with styrofoam, rain, etc.

We glue the Christmas tree to the stand from the disk.

The Christmas tree is ready!

You can put gifts or put a little animal nearby.

Such Christmas trees have been a success for many years.

Method 3. And, finally, the last option for today is a Christmas tree made of plastic milk bottles (from which decorative Christmas trees just don't ...). The design is completely collapsible, has the maximum resemblance to the original, does not require particularly complex technologies and specific work skills, there is also no problem with bottles, well, a holiday is on the nose ...

Materials and tools

The material for making a Christmas tree is a milk plastic bottle or part of it (Fig. 1). To make a homemade tabletop Christmas tree, you need 5-20 milk / kefir plastic bottles with corrugation at the bottom. The number of bottles determines the number of branches and tiers. The more branches, the more fluffy the Christmas tree turns out, the more tiers, the higher it is.

In addition to bottles, you only need scissors and plastic rivet technology

Plastic rivets

To implement the technology of plastic rivets, it is necessary to have a means for melting (installing) the rivets and the rivet itself. You need to manage to melt the head of the rivet with a nail or a lighter hot on the fire. You can similarly do this with a well-heated soldering iron. In addition, you will need clamps and tweezers to set rivets in hard-to-reach places.

The choice of material is very important for plastic rivets. After fluttering for about a year, by trial and error, taking into account the requirements of strength and availability, I have identified several sources for obtaining plastic rivets:

1. Empty rods from ballpoint pens... Sufficiently available material. They are good because they are colorless and the connection, for their help, turns out to be organically inscribed into the product from plastic bottles. Such a rivet turns out to be neat, with a round head, however, it has a slightly reduced tensile strength. In addition, the rod from ballpoint pens is round in cross section and completely fills the drilled hole in the parts to be joined. By the way, the walls of the rods are of different thicknesses, for rivets it is better to use rods with thicker walls.

2. Sticks from Chupa Chups. Similar to option # 1, only colored. The connection turns out to be more cumbersome, and the rivet head is melted with difficulty (either burns out, or becomes ugly, or unreliable).

3. The most ideal option, and very convenient (I give the world a proposal) to use material from buckets with building mixtures for 3, 5, 10 liters. There are a lot of them after repairs, and one is enough for a long time.

A ring must be cut out of the walls of such a bucket, and the ring must be cut along a generatrix (only this way) into strips 2 ... 4 mm wide, 4 to 15 cm long. These will be blanks for rivets, and, moreover, the best and most affordable, almost unlimited quantity.

Getting a connection with such rivets is straightforward. It is more convenient for this to pre-prepare rivets of the required length, melting the head of the plastic rod on one side. To connect two parts with plastic rivets, we overlap the parts, melt them with the same burner, forming a hole of the desired profile and size, insert a rivet there and, by melting, form a head from the opposite end of the rivet rod. After practicing reflow several times, the head is neat and tear-resistant.

Let's get started ...

To implement the idea, a starting material is needed in the form of a part of a milk plastic bottle (Fig. 1a), which is cut along the circumference into two components (Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, respectively). A trunk will be formed from the part adjacent to the neck (Fig. 1b), and the branches of the future Christmas tree are cut out from the ring with a central groove (Fig. 1c). One whole plastic bottle makes two or three rings. The more rings you prepare, the more fluffy and tall the Christmas tree can be assembled. I had about 20 such rings, no less (10 full bottles).

Plastic rings with a groove in the middle must be cut into several equal parts (Fig. 2) along the generatrix of the bottle cylinder. As a result, we get convex rectangles. If you cut into 2 parts, then from such long halves you get long lower branches of the Christmas tree, if you cut into 3 equal parts, you get branches of middle tiers and medium length, and cutting into 4-5 parts, we get small blanks for the upper tiers of a desktop Christmas tree ... It is not at all necessary to observe the special uniformity of the dimensions of the rectangles for one type of tier.

Next, the rather tedious work of forming a branch begins. A wedge-shaped blank should be cut out of each plastic convex rectangle (Fig. 3a) with scissors (Fig. 3b). The axis of symmetry of the wedge-shaped part should be located along the groove of the corrugation. Immediately after cutting the workpiece, "needles" should be formed on it, making cuts along the side edges at approximately 45 degrees to the groove and radially at the end of the "branch". (Figure 3c). The needles are alternately bred from the plane of the workpiece, also at 45 degrees to each other. The spreading of the needles up and down relative to the plane of the branch ensures the fluffiness of the Christmas tree.

As a result of such painstaking work, several sets (Fig. 4) of branches of different sizes are obtained for a desktop homemade Christmas tree. Cutting branches, and then needles is a rather long task, but you can also entrust this to your relatives within the framework of collective creativity to decorate life on New Year's Eve. It should be noted that it is difficult to accurately determine the number of branches that form a specific tier by eye, so you must always have several rings in stock (Fig. 1c) for cutting branches during the installation of tiers

The place for attaching the branches is the trunk, which consists of several parts (logs). The tops of the plastic bottles (Fig. 1b) were considered waste during the separation of the rings (Fig. 1c), but now they are also used in the tree construction to create the trunk. The base of the barrel and the lower log are the complete neck of the plastic bottle (Figure 5a). The upper logs are assembled from blanks obtained by cutting off the threaded part of a milk bottle with a flange, as well as removing a segment of plastic along the generatrices (Fig. 5b, 5c). The segments must be rolled up with a tube and fixed on both sides of the generatrix with plastic rivets. Likewise, it is necessary to create several logs to fasten the tiers of branches. In my case, these are 3 logs, but there may be more and less of them. For a miniature Christmas tree, 3-4 tiers of branches are enough on just one log.

Naturally, the diameter of the trunk should taper towards the top of the table tree and the diameter of the upper log should be less than the lower one. The larger the cutout of the segment, the more upper the log is obtained from the tapered top of the plastic bottle. A half segment is needed for the apex, and about two-thirds of the entire neck for the middle part (Figure 5b). The diameter of the lower hole of the upper log should be about 1 mm larger than the upper hole of the lower log forming the trunk.

It's time to attach the branches to the "logs". Each log will need to place 2-3 tiers of branches. A small number of tiers does not allow effectively covering the heads of rivets with branches, and a large number spoils the aesthetic appearance of the Christmas tree. In each tier of this design, you can install from 4 to 10 branches. Fastening is carried out using plastic rivets, since a lot of plastic rivets are required, it is better to prepare them for future use. The easiest way is to set the branches in tiers on the lower logs (Fig. 6), since the neck in the plastic bottle is wide enough and it is convenient to hold the plastic rivet from the inside with your finger.

If you put branches along the circumference of the tier, then one rivet is enough to attach the branch to the trunk (Fig. 6-8). for lovers of greater reliability, two rivets can be installed side by side. The tiers of the branches must be formed like the flooring of the roof of the house - from the bottom up, then the branches of the upper tier will cover the rivets of the lower one and the heads of the rivets will be completely invisible.

In my case, in the lower (Fig. 6) and middle (Fig. 7) logs of the trunk there are 2 tiers of branches, and in the upper one - 3 (Fig. 8). In total - 5 tiers of branches. It is quite enough to acquire an amazing similarity with a real tree. The installation of plastic rivets on the upper tier, due to its small diameter, should be done using tweezers or a medical clamp.

After securing all the tiers on all the logs, you can proceed to the final assembly. But first, it is advisable to decide on the top. In my case, without hesitation, I built the top using the same technology as the barrel (Fig. 5), that is, by folding the plastic into a cone. But You can do it differently, for example, in the form of an asterisk or a ball (I like the cone better). The top of the tree is also attached to the top of the trunk with a rivet installed from the inside and melted from the outside. The upper part of the trunk, together with the top, is already in itself a miniature table Christmas tree (Fig. 9). It can be installed on the monitor and enhance the holiday feeling ...

A live Christmas tree grows from the bottom up, in the same order, and we collect logs with tiers of branches by adding "logs" (Fig. 10) to an already existing Christmas tree. It is better to connect the elements of the trunk to each other in a place covered by a branch, at three points along the circumference of the trunk. In this case, the trunk acquires rigidity and will not break, if the Christmas tree accidentally falls on the floor from the table, the Christmas tree then the table ...

And if you insert a dynamic light part (for example, a garland) inside the Christmas tree, then on New Year's Eve it will amaze others with its charm:

Here is such a master class. Of course, a little complicated, but for what beauty it turns out!

, section of the site where ALL homemade trees and ALL options from which you can make a Christmas tree.

Step 1: Prepare materials

To find and obtain the nearly 300 bottles needed to make a Christmas tree out of plastic bottles, I spent two mornings rummaging through a junkyard looking for enough to build a Christmas tree.

Other items I picked up:
- Lots of glue sticks
- Old Rusted Milk Crate
- A couple of paper grocery bags
- Old Christmas lights
- Several buckets from under the products

Step 2: cleaning

This is the easiest step, I threw the bottles into the tub and filled it with water.

Step 3: start assembly

I started by drilling holes in bottle caps. Then he pushed the light bulb in the garland and secured it with hot glue from a pistol. Then I stapled the bottles together to make a Christmas tree out of plastic bottles. As you might have guessed, I started with one bottle at the top and made the Christmas tree wider and wider downward.

Step 4: start supporting the Christmas tree

At some point, somewhere around 3 feet from the bottom, I inserted a small bucket to use as a base. Then I put it on another bucket and then I put it all on the old milk crate. Then I proceeded to glue the glowing bottles together to make a Christmas tree out of plastic bottles.

Step 5: star

When I was digging through a landfill looking for bottles, my friend found these interesting plastic parts. She took them home and, using a hot glue gun, turned them into gorgeous stars.

Step 6: barking and turning on

I covered the base of the tree with torn paper from a shopping bag, which made it look a bit like bark ... Well, I guess all that's left is to include the done Christmas tree made of plastic bottles.

Christmas tree

An unusual Christmas tree can be made from simple plastic bottles. It is important to collect the necessary materials for this craft and follow the master class step by step.

This will require:

  • Plastic bottles;
  • Scotch;
  • Sandpaper (cardboard);
  • Scissors.

Progress:

  1. The bottom and the neck should be removed from the bottle, and then you get a straight pipe. Then you should prepare blanks from the branches. They must be of different sizes to make the tree cone-shaped.
  2. Then the plastic bottles need to be cut lengthwise into 3 parts so that the subsequent tiers are less than the previous ones. Needles need to be made on each workpiece, and for this they are cut into thin strips, but not completely. In order for the Christmas tree to stand steadily, it is advisable to use the bottom of one of the bottles as a stand.
  3. A sheet of cardboard must be rolled into a tube and installed in the neck of the bottle. You can fix it with tape. Now each tier of branches needs to be fixed on the tree. You can put a toy on the top or come up with something else. To make the Christmas tree fluffy, the needles should be cut thinner. Usually blue or transparent bottles are used for this. That's all, our craft is ready!

Christmas balls

You can decorate your Christmas tree with handmade toys. In work, it is important to follow all the steps in stages, and then you will get wonderful products.

This will require:

  • Plastic bottle;
  • Glue;
  • Rain;
  • Any shiny jewelry.

Progress:

  1. The paper should be wrapped around the bottle to help mark the blanks on it. It is necessary to cut 4 rings 1 cm wide. Then the rings must be fastened together according to the principle "crosswise" and fixed with glue. The result should be a ball of plastic strips. You need to choose beautiful threads or rain so that the toy can be used for the Christmas tree.
  2. To decorate the resulting blanks, it is better to use foil, beads, beads, etc. A small ball can be placed inside such a ball. In this craft, you can fantasize as much as you like. This will be a very interesting activity for children.

To work you will need:

  • Scissors;
  • Acrylic paints of white, blue, golden, silver color - to choose from;
  • Plastic bottles, preferably blue;
  • Paint brush;
  • Wire;
  • Pliers.

Progress:

  1. We take plastic bottles and with a clerical knife or scissors cut the bottom as low as possible to the base, leaving only the corrugated part.
