Overwatch is single player. Why is Overwatch a bad game? What to Learn - Globally

There is a lot of advice on how to play Overwatch - disassemble all the heroes and their tricks, arrange a tour of the maps, for example - but it will take a lot of time. And studying these things yourself is still much more interesting than reading about them from someone.

I wanted to prepare a little more general material, which will warn beginners against the mistakes that beginners almost always make, and make the game more enjoyable for them and their team. And so I did.

Who to play for?

In fact, it's worth playing for everyone. This is one of the main ideas of Overwatch: you have more than two dozen heroes, and each is handy in different situations. Here we will not analyze every case - it is better to find out such things in practice. It’s better to focus on how to play better so that the practice runs as smoothly as possible.

Playing as some heroes (McCree, Tracer, Widow, Hanzo), you will perform better, the more experience you have in playing shooters. In playing for others, you can be beneficial simply by making the right decisions at the right time. And if without the ability to shoot it often turns out to somehow get out, then without understanding the situation in Overwatch, there is simply no way.

Therefore, I would like to say this to new players.

DO NOT play as Bastion

Seriously. If you are advised to play for Bastion, "because it is the simplest", chase the would-be adviser with rags. Don't get fooled. This is a rotten provocation, which is why there are so many bad Bastions in public games.

Bastion is really easy to play - deploy into a turret, hold down the fire button and cut frags - but this is his the main problem... More than once, a robot sitting in a passage will only work against completely hopeless opponents. And you yourself are unlikely to learn anything in the process, unless you will see a couple of times how experienced guys fight against beginning Bastions like you. It's not that difficult, we'll see.

A good Bastion is one who has managed to get a feel for other heroes and has a good idea of when to get up and dump. Without playing for everyone else before, you will not get this idea.

If you start from scratch, take healers

Healers are the perfect first choice. That way, you can still kill (I know you want it), but at the same time, you will bring the team much more value than another talentless Bastion, and learn critical skills along the way.

Angel, which must always be next to the right ally at the right time, makes you look around and understand the movement of the team on the fly. But at the same time, she alone can lead the team to victory with a well-placed resurrection.

Zenyatta kills, and kills better than many. However, because of his awkwardness, he needs to learn to feel the map and the location of enemies on it, so as not to be under sniper fire or in some gateway, from where a Buddhist with balls cannot escape.

Lucio with his speed and running up the walls teaches you to be impudent and get on your nerves. But he should not be too far away from his team, so as not to lose the opportunity to reach her with his healing and accelerating auras.

Finally, if you are treating someone who plays better than you, you can always observe what clever things he does and take note of something.

If you understand something - lean on "tanks"

If you want not to support, but to lead (which in itself is the most important skill that needs to be pumped), almost all "tanks" work well.

A good start - Winston... You don't need to be well-aimed with him (his Tesla cannon is aimed at the nearest targets itself), but it is vital to measure your strengths and rush into battle when it really will be of use. It's always tempting to jump like a fat gorilla into the center of the enemy team ... and die ingloriously before you can scare anyone. Winston teaches how to seize the moment, look for opportunities and play them wisely.

The same good Reinhardt, but his job is not to make noise in the enemy's rear, but to stand with the team and cover it with himself. However, with his brute strength, it is also worth taking a break from time to time. Once you practice your endurance and stop squeezing the nail dash every time it rolls back, you become a little better - as a player and as a person.

And yes, it is very cool for Winston to jump from one end of the map to the other, and Reinhardt is very cool to throw around every little thing. Do not think that they are some kind of boring.

If you are a king, don't bother

Don't read the guides. Take the Widow and hang quickscopes in flight.

(Don't do this. Stop.)

What to Learn - Globally

Heroes SHOULD be changed

Let's say this again: different heroes are suitable for different situations. Snipers by themselves can kill anyone from afar, but a teaspoon per hour, and if there are too many of them in the team, then there is simply no one to capture objects - the attacking team needs a strong assault core. For example, Soldier-76 and Farrah in conjunction with Zarya ... on which the enemy team can respond with Reinhardt's protective shield. How to open it? Reaper and Tracer can go around from behind.

Are you McCree and the Widow sitting on the roof makes you nervous? Next time, return to Genji running along the walls and punish her. This is the normal course of the game. Teams choose heroes, one succeeds, the second regroups, changing the composition, the first reacts and rolls out its answer, the second responds again - and so on.

You can often do without replacements and just try again. But if you have not succeeded for the fifth minute in a row, maybe it really is worth changing the hero? And for heaven's sake, don't take another sniper if your team already has two of them. As pleasant as it is to play for them, Hanzo and Widow are narrow specialists. There shouldn't be many of them.

Bastion is not "imba"

Bastion is most often complained about by beginners, but very rarely played at high levels. Why is that?

The problem with this hero is this: he is capable of a lot with a minimum of effort - the turret does huge damage, and you don't really need to aim it. But Bastion is very easy to neutralize if you know how.

Bastion's immobility is its main weakness. If decomposed in open space, it can be easily mowed down from afar with sniper fire, Zenyatta spheres, or Farrah's missiles. If hid behind a wall, Junkrat's ricochet grenades will help. You can generally get close at close range, playing for Genji, and turn on his reflection of bullets - if Bastion is a fool, he will shoot himself. If he hid behind Reinhardt's shield - seep through and hang the Tracer sticky bomb, for example.

This is not to mention coordinated efforts - when someone distracts the turret, and someone sharpens its vulnerable rear. Against a smart team, bad Bastions do not last long, even under the cover of friends. At the same time, a good Bastion, constantly changing its position and finding itself where it is not expected, is a much more serious problem, but it is solved in the same way. This is a "very situational" hero who doesn't really shine very often.

Health, armor and shields are different things

Let's get this point down to the basics. Hero health comes in three colors. White is normal, it is restored only by first-aid kits and healing skills (one Angel is automatically healed by itself). Blue - shields that begin to replenish three seconds after the last damage. At Zenyatta and Zarya, a significant part of the health bar is made up of shields, and this helps them to recover from skirmishes without anyone's help.

The third type of health is armor, it is yellow. All damage to it is reduced by five units or cut in half if the blow took less than ten health points. This is not so important when we are talking about a powerful, but slow weapon (150 damage from a charged hit of the Widow minus 5 - 145 remains), but it hits the automatic cannons very hard. So, Tracer's damage is cut by almost half!

Armor is consumed before health, but after shields, and is replenished with healing, if by default it is "included in the package" of the hero (but the armor handed out by Torbjorn is not returned). Tanks usually have a lot of armor, especially D.Va. Not the worst compensation for large bodies that are easy to hit.

Listen!

Worst idea is to play Overwatch without sound. There is no minimap, and the maps are quite complex, and it is easy for an enemy saboteur to hide in them. Therefore, it remains to navigate by sound. By the cries of the heroes, by the steps, by the noise of weapons and everything else, you can learn a lot about the situation on the field. If you hear the characteristic "DEATH IS ALREADY CLOSE" somewhere above and behind, do not pretend that nothing has happened - you are guaranteed to get it from the edge to the back of the head.

You need to shoot in the head

Another obvious thing for shooters, but it is also worth taking apart.

Headshots in Overwatch do twice the damage - and that's lot... Not all weapons can be used to make headshots (Farrah's rockets, Reinhardt's hammer, Winston's lightning bolts, Symmetra's beam - it's easy to catch the logic), but for the same snipers they are the basis of the basics, since they allow you to kill almost all heroes (not counting "tanks") from one hits. A trifle like Tracer also becomes menacingly strong as soon as it realizes where the enemy's weak point is.

This moment is balanced by the fact that almost everyone here has very small heads, but it shouldn't be easy in this game. Exercise. Ranked matches will be played at the end of June - and you need to be prepared for that!

The Blizzard website was about finding a few new hires. What exactly can a famous studio plan and how is it connected with it Overwatch, read the news!

The company now needs a couple of software engineers to tweak the first-person engine for an unannounced project. Benefits will include "experience developing and releasing a first person shooter or other action game."

It is unlikely that Blizzard may have another shooter in active development besides Overwatch. This means that a couple of new programmers will work with him. But why a single player? The answer to this question was recently given by the lead game designer of the project Jeff Kaplan:

Everyone knows that Blizzard has a special passion for filling their games with quality storyline, and we also love making single-player and co-op modes. You could see this in many of our games - StarCraft, Diablo, World Of Warcraft.

There's a lot of talk in the studio about developing a single-player campaign for Overwatch ... or even more, co-op. But right now we do not have any clear plans, this is still a long way off.

Following this announcement, Blizzard ran an interesting Halloween test in which four players fought off the boss and his hordes of minions. Isn't it probing public opinion about whether such a regime will be popular or not?

Blizzard's experience with Hearthstone, which has received a campaign-like single-player mode in the form of World Of Warcraft dungeon exploration and boss battles. So Overwatch is still ahead.

Greetings! Today I will tell you all the details of the recently released Blizzard game. We will look at aspects of the game such as gameplay, graphics and game modes, as well as go over each of the characters, so that at the end of the article you can form your own opinion about whether to play this new product.

The game was released recently, but has already managed to create a stir among the gaming community and almost everyone knows how it attracted close attention. For more than 10 years, the "blizzard" has not brought to the market a fundamentally new universe, but the developers gathered their courage and decided to try to create an online action game that is focused on a competitive and close to esports audience and called it Overwatch.

Let's take a closer look at it.

The review was prepared in text and video versions. Choose whichever is more convenient for you.

The game is a kind of team Action / RPG with a first-person view with all that it implies. You will have to choose one of two dozen heroes, each of which has its own unique abilities, embark on the path of a peacemaker and fight for the prosperity of the future, fighting in 6 vs 6 matches, in different parts of Mother Earth. At the time of release, Overwatch invites us to save the world in four different ways:

  1. Capturing points - One team is trying to capture 2 square areas of the map in the allotted time, and the other is trying to prevent them.
  2. Escort - you either escort an unnecessary trailer from a fuel tanker along a certain route, or in every possible way prevent its advance. Or is it a giant battery?
  3. A hybrid is a vinaigrette from the first and second modes, only here, as a rule, you accompany either some pop star or a deputy.
  4. Object control - differs from Capturing points only in that both teams fight for a single empty room, and whoever captures it first wins the round, and the battle itself continues until two victories, that is, a maximum of 3 rounds.

The duration of a match in any of the modes is on average from 7 to 15 minutes, and the respawn time after death is about 10 seconds.

The game has neither the classic for this kind of games, Deathmatch "a, nor capture the flag. Let's hope that they will appear soon, because the existing ones are very monotonous. Battles take place on 12 maps, 3 for each of the modes, which, in my opinion, not bad, because using one site for several types of game at once would be at least hack, but at the most it would be poorly planned and uninteresting. In this regard, Overwatch is fine. Each battlefield has many twists and turns, behind which you can hide and a decent number of elevations for those who like to play sniper. Also, the cards are filled with all sorts of different little things that you can throw or break in anticipation of the start of the match.

The match begins with the choice of a hero, whom you can later change at your base if you get bored with him. Each of the characters belongs to a certain class, there are only four of them in the game:

  1. Stormtroopers - These guys are the main firepower of the team and have the ability to fight at close and medium range. They are able to do a huge amount of damage in a short period of time using their abilities.
  2. Defenders - They are called upon to hold certain positions and contain the attacks of the enemy. Defenders include snipers and engineers.
  3. Tanks are a familiar class. A pile of fat that is capable of consuming exorbitant amounts of lead and has the ability ... to absorb even more damage.
  4. Support - well, what about without calipers. Heroes of this class are focused either on healing allied heroes, or on increasing their damage to enemies.

Now that we figured out the classes and still chose the most brutal and clichéd character of all time and peoples, we can finally run forward and shout "die, die, die." And the first wisdom that you will learn after your defeat is a team game to the core. To win, you need to work together, it's not for nothing that these roles were invented. By playing your game, you are unlikely to find success. It is important to understand that Overwatch is a team game and is focused on completing tasks, not earning precious frags. Of course, you need to kill, but you should not chase opponents all over the map, it is enough, and at the same time desirable, to drive the enemy from the necessary point and complete the task.

Blizzard also gave players a huge amount of strategy to choose from. The fact is that you have no limit on the number of identical characters in a team or the game as a whole. At least in non-rated matches. This mechanic allows you to create strategies of varying degrees of effectiveness and absurdity. You can collect a squad of six 76 soldiers and the game will become similar to Call of Duty, or choose six Torbjorns and do some sort of Tower defense. I rushed from one extreme to another, but you get the point.

In this story, however, there is one snag. It is advisable for you to play with your friends and be in touch with them. With casual players, this is rarely possible. To be honest, I got tired of the single game very quickly. Overwatch is all about communication and information sharing, and at the same time, fun emotions. To really effectively defeat your enemies, you need to work together and competently use your special skills, which the common people call ultimates.

The developers decided to let you inflate your ego and introduced a best match moment system. At the end of each battle, no matter which team wins, you will be shown the best moment of the match. And it doesn't matter at all who you play as a support hero or stormtrooper - any class can show off in the final video. Having admired the dead Torbjorn killing five with a turret, you will be asked to vote for one of four players who distinguished themselves from the rest by their usefulness in battle. The most interesting thing is that you can also be on the list and, accordingly, like yourself. Daffodils will appreciate.

Naturally, a game like Overwatch needs to somehow hold players back so that they have a reason to come back to the game again and again. Therefore, it was decided to follow the well-trodden path and weave the experience system, many different awards and achievements into the game. At the end of each of the matches, depending on your efficiency, you will receive a certain amount of experience. Upon reaching a new level, you will be given a container containing five different cosmetic items for heroes or game currency, which you can also spend on buying specific decorations for your favorite character.

There are tons of trinkets: different skins, special lines, emotions, best moment screensavers, victory poses and graffiti - in general, there is everything you need to make you feel that you have not wasted your precious time on the game. These containers can also be purchased for real currency. They are sold from two pieces and, in my opinion, are not very cheap, but for those who want to open their favorite look as quickly as possible, this option will be the simplest. But we are not looking for easy ways, are we?

In general, the gameplay leaves a double impression. If you play as a stormtrooper, then the battle takes place at a fairly fast and dynamic pace, but when playing for some tanks or defenders, the battle may seem very monotonous or even boring to you. You will rarely have to travel long distances and more often than not, your task will be to maintain a certain position, while the rest have fun killing enemies. But as they say - to each his own and, perhaps, you will have to like to block the enemy's path with your chest or build defensive turrets.

The blizzard toy came out undemanding and, in addition, well-optimized. On my old i5-750 and gtx 680 it keeps stable 90-100 fps at medium - high graphics settings. We can safely say that in terms of optimization, Blizzy did their best. Having rummaged through the settings, I did not notice a strong difference between the minimum and maximum parameters of the game, except in the quality of textures. The cartoon style looks very nice, and the high-quality shadows and various particles only make Overwatch even more entertaining. Explosions and shooting animations, of course, are not the standard of epicity, but we did not come to Michael Bay's film, did we? Moreover, the game will not give you the opportunity to admire yourself.

And finally, let's take a closer look at each of the characters. If you already know everything about them, then feel free to wind to the end of the article. I understand that not everyone can master so much text.

It would be wrong not to start our inspection with the young lady, who flaunts on all the posters and covers of the game.

Tracer is an extremely mobile hero armed with two submachine guns that are most effective at close range. She is capable of quick jumps over long distances and is extremely effective when attacking sedentary tanks or attacks from the rear. If you unsuccessfully burst into a crowd of enemies, use the return ability, which will return you to your original position and cancel all the damage received. Tracer's superpower is called a Pulse Bomb. You throw explosives that can stick to enemies. After a short delay, it will explode and deal massive damage in a small radius. This ability combines well with the rest of the character's skills. You can jump to the enemy in the rear, attach a bomb to it and come back. In fact, good players on this hero more than once caused me the wildest fits of anger, as they interfered in every possible way and, one might say, did not allow me to play in principle.

Farrah is a strong and independent Egyptian girl, armed with a rocket launcher. Thanks to her jetpack, she is able to take off quite high, and water her enemies with an endless volley of missiles. Its second feature is called a blast wave. It pushes all opponents away from the point you specify. Thus, it is quite easy to throw onlookers off the cliff. Farrah's most important ability is Rocket Barrage. Soaring high into the sky and pressing the Q key, you literally rain down on the enemy, and anyone who falls under it will go to rest. The hero is very strong, but you have to learn to shoot ahead of the curve and anticipate the movements of your opponents, but if you are a seasoned Quake or Unreal Tournament player, you will quickly get used to it.

McCree is a classic cowboy armed with a six-round revolver. It shoots either well-aimed single shots or discharges the entire drum at once, but in this case the spread of bullets will be significant and this method of firing is effective only at close distances. His first ability is a roll. With its help, McCree moves a short distance and instantly reloads the weapon. He also always has a flash and noise grenade, which is capable of stunning opponents in a small radius. She can be very useful when capturing Tracer, since the jumper has a small amount of health, she can be finished off from one empty drum at point-blank range. The ultimate for this hero is simple - after a short delay, McCree kills all enemies in sight with one very well-aimed shot.

Genji. This samurai is as strong as it is difficult to master. He throws shurikens both in a straight line and in a fan and is able to rush forward and inflict damage on everyone in his path. In addition to all this, with a good reaction, the hero is able to reflect any projectile directed at him, including the ultimate, and send it back to the enemy. He is also agile enough to climb walls and double jumps. His super ability is called the dragon's blade and allows you to deal massive amounts of melee damage with your katana. A little hint: when he bares his blade, do not listen to your instincts for self-preservation, but try to kill him. After all, you can't run away from him.

Soldier-76 is a classic shooter. Nothing superfluous - a sprint, a first-aid kit that restores health to all allies within a certain radius, and an underbarrel rocket launcher. The super ability allows you not to worry about the position of the sight, because the soldier's visor will direct the sight at any of your enemies in sight, and each shot will surely reach its target. A kind of legalized aimbot. My favorite hero - played for him once - since then I don't want to change him.

Closing our list of stormtroopers is perhaps the most clichéd villain of all. He's so cool that he doesn't reload his shotguns, he throws them away. Instead of the old ones, he pulls out a couple of new cannons, hidden in his ... somewhere. The reaper is able to turn into smoke and thereby become invulnerable for a short period of time. By killing his enemies, he reaps their souls and restores their health. And since he can dissolve into thin air, he also has no effort to teleport long distances. The pinnacle of epic, it can rightfully be called the "Flower of Death" - the Reaper spins and shoots in all directions at the same time, causing huge damage at close and medium distances. The ability should be used wisely, because if the enemy knows where you are, he will kill you without the slightest difficulty during your "dance".

Our list of defenders opens with an archer named Hanzo. Believe me, he will make you splash bile more than once, and he can bring the most impressionable ones to hysterics. The hero has the ability to climb walls and is armed with several types of arrows:

  1. Sound - illuminates all enemies within a certain radius.
  2. Cluster - When faced with an obstacle, it disintegrates into many ricocheting arrows.
  3. Better take off your headphones (superpower) - after a phrase that will infuriate you after a few hours of playing Overwatch, it releases an arrow that spawns two dragons flying in a straight line and destroying all the heroes in its path.

This character will be encountered by you in almost every game and very quickly will start to cause you to ignite the causal place.

This iron-handed dwarf loves to flirt with the turret he puts in. Having improved it to the second level, by simple tapping with a hammer, you will get a mechanism for extracting the most boring or ridiculous moment of the match. The turret, although flimsy, has the reaction of a mongoose and the accuracy of a hawk, and without unnecessary difficulties, it can overwhelm absolutely any character. In addition to this, the old man is not averse to profiting from the garbage that his enemies scatter at the place of his death. From it, he can create sets of armor that can save the lives of allies. The bearded man's superpower is righteous overheating. Torbjorn gets turned up and begins to shoot faster and hit people (or a turret) with a hammer, and his "beauty" is temporarily pumped to the third level and begins to water the unfortunate enemies with missiles. I play for this hero when I watch a TV series or correspond in contact, because defending the turret is the task of tanks, but there is no need to climb on the rampage.

This modest Eskimo woman is not as harmless as it seems at first glance. She will say - "oh, sorry", coldly sticking an icicle in your head. The young lady is armed with a cryoblaster equipped with two modes - a sprinkler and an icicle gun. The first mode chills and freezes your character, and the second, finishes him with aimed icicles in the head. After such a cruel reprisal, you will definitely want reckoning, but it wasn’t there. Mei is able to create walls of ice that block your path. But what is really there - she herself can freeze in a block of ice, while restoring health, and her superpower almost instantly freezes everyone in a huge radius. Of course, the Eskimo is not so impressive at long distances, but at close range it easily destroys all living things, including your nerve cells.

While I was writing this review, the thought struck me that the defender class, for the most part, was created either for trolls or for people unable to have fun. Bastion is a Decepticon that can transform into a stationary machine gun, and with proper support, it can sit in one place for a whole match and shower you with a hail of bullets. And when his super is charged, he turns into a T-34 and blows your team to different angles. In fact, he is not so scary, and a huge number of characters can kill him. For example, a tracer can stick a bomb on him, and Genji can reflect his "leaden rain" and thereby kill him.

The Junkrat is a pyromaniac with a grenade launcher, a trap and a high-explosive mine, which, as a rule, flies on. After his death, he drops grenades under himself, thereby undermining the gaping killer. The moment the ultimate is fully charged, the degree of fun takes off by new level... Junkrat launches a wheel that can be propelled into a crowd and blown up. The wheel, as I understand it, breaks through any shield and the only way to escape from it is to destroy it manually. This sick ... uncle will be extremely effective in the control mode of the object: For example, on the Lijiang Tower map, you need to capture a room 3: 4, and ricocheting grenades can cause a lot of pain to your enemy.

Closes our disgusting six - the second sex symbol of this "child's play". named Widow. An ordinary sniper armed with an assault rifle, with the ability to switch to sniper mode. The Cat Hook helps her to climb high ledges for more convenient shelling, and the poisonous mine serves as a good defense for her. The game has a character with an aimbot, and Blizzard could not get around the wall hack. The widow's super ability allows her entire team to see through walls for a small amount of time. Don't let the cinematic videos fool you - the Widow is a fragile lady who needs to walk twice over her face with a hammer to calm the devil.

This is exactly the same guy who is able to fill up a beauty without any consequences. Reinhardt is not armed with firearms, but can throw energy projectiles at the enemy that pierce any shields. Also, the character is able to accelerate and nail down the enemy that came under his arm, and is almost guaranteed to kill him. However, the main task of the big guy is to maintain an energy barrier that absorbs damage and thereby, oddly enough, protects your allies. With his superpower, he knocks enemies down and deals decent damage to them. The fallen enemies are vulnerable and you can easily finish off a couple of them. As for me, Reinhardt is a very funny hero if you are a fan of standing still, because for the successful use of the ultimate, you need to catch the moment that will appear oh if not immediately.

Poo-like heroes have already become a cliche in the world of esports games. Roadhog is just one of them. It has a hook and is fat and ugly. In addition to the hook, he has, either an inhaler, or a gas mask filter, which replenishes him a huge amount of health in a very short period of time. The fat man is armed with a shotgun that shoots debris, and using his superpower, he puts a meat grinder on the cannon, throws metal into it ... god what am I talking about ... and begins to fire at enemies at a crazy speed, causing them a huge amount of damage and throwing the scoundrels back ... Cheerful character.

This mini King Kong takes himself for an intelligent gorilla, beats opponents with an electric shock, and puts up protective domes. But as soon as you press the Q key, the true nature will prevail and Winston, as befits a mindless gorilla, will begin to destroy everything and everyone, swinging his fists and knocking enemies away from him. At the same time, he does not inflict much damage, the main feature of the hero is precisely in restraining the enemy. Try to use Winston's ultimate to push the enemy off the cliff or push him into the crowd of allies.

Blizzard Entertainment is known for the fact that each of its new projects instantly gains a large following. So is it any surprise that their upcoming multiplayer Overwatch inspires confidence for many? By the way, the closed testing of the game, to which only a few players got access, took place at the end of 2015. And here's the impression Overwatch made on these lucky ones.

Overwatch game: release date

It is worth noting that this game is the first that Blizzard has developed in a similar genre. Therefore, there were still some doubts that the project would be successful. True, real fans of the company's works hardly doubted this, therefore they were initially sure that this multiplayer shooter would be one of the best today.

Although it won't be long to guess. Soon everyone will be able to test this statement by playing Overwatch. Its release date is set for the end of May 2016. So we are waiting.

Game process. First impressions

It should be noted right away that the game will surely appeal to fans of shooters. It is designed for a session game, where two teams of six players can fight against each other. Moreover, everyone will be able to choose who he should be: an attack aircraft, a defender, a support hero or a tank. From this it follows that there are only four classes in Overwatch, and 21 heroes are available for the game. So there will be a choice, and not too small.

Overwatch is not for those who like to play alone. Only in a team with joint efforts can you achieve success and come to victory. Moreover, it is not necessary to immediately engage in a real battle, you can first undergo training and test yourself in a training battle. And only after gaining experience, fight with real players.

Speaking about the game "Overwatch", the system requirements for which will be considered later, one cannot but mention its combat modes. There are two of them - tracking and capturing points. In the first mode, it will be necessary to either protect a certain object, or deliver the EMP device safe and sound. As for the capture mode, one team will have to attack, and the other will have to guard the control points. Only sometimes it is not clear what needs to be done, to attack or defend, because the events are happening so rapidly that all that remains is to endlessly press the key, destroying the enemies, and after that it is already clear what is what.

Although the characters of "Overwatch" are divided into four types, they are all completely different, not similar to each other. Each hero will have their own personal ability or skill that will suit their specialization. Thanks to this, players will be able to develop various tactics even before the start of the battle in order to try to gain an advantage over the other team.

Although it may happen that in the midst of the battle, the tactics that have been worked out will be useless in front of the opposing team, which is why the air will smell of defeat. Only this situation is not critical, since at any moment there is an opportunity to change characters to others and radically change the course of the battle.

In addition to unique abilities, each hero will have their own signature hit. True, it can be applied if the energy scale is fully restored, and for this it is necessary to kill as many enemies as possible. Even though each match lasts no more than 10 minutes, there is a way to end it early. For example, if one team manages to recapture all the control points, then its rivals will automatically lose.

What else pleases me is the controllability of the Overwatch game. A review of the control system is, frankly, unnecessary. After all, it is simple and familiar to all players. In order to engage in the fray, all you need is a mouse and a keyboard. And to win, you only need to skillfully manage them so as not to lose.

Graphic component

Anyone who has seen screenshots and videos for the game will probably agree that visually it looks decent. Objects, characters, traces of shots - everything is drawn perfectly. Moreover, the developers have optimized the game so well that it will run both on powerful computers and on machines with average characteristics. Thus, in the game "Overwatch" system requirements should not be too high. But more on that later. The good news is that during the test, no glitches or freezes were noticed. And for such games this is a big plus.

Sound accompaniment

Many have a positive opinion about the voice acting and soundtracks for the game. The musical accompaniment is balanced in such a way as to harmoniously fit into the events taking place on the screen. Russification is also implemented perfectly. They even added a voice chat to the game, for communication between players. In general, everything is good with the sound in Overwatch, at least there were no negative reviews.

Overwatch game system requirements

According to the developers, their new product is aimed at a wide audience. Therefore, it will be possible to run the game on computers with different characteristics, which is good news.

Indeed, for a comfortable game at medium settings, you need a GeForce 460 or Radeon HD4870 video card, 4 GB of RAM, and processors of the level Intel Core i3. This configuration will allow you to play safely at 30 frames / s.

For 60 frames, you need a more powerful computer. The video card must be at least GeForce 670 or Radeon HD7950. As for the processor, at least an Intel Core i5 or a similar version from AMD. RAM is enough 6 GB.

It is clear that in both cases you will need OS Windows of the last three versions and 5 GB of free disk space. Considering the above, we can conclude that many players will still be able to experience the Overwatch. The system requirements, as it turned out, are quite modest.

Eventually

To summarize, we can say with confidence now that Overwatch is a worthy multiplayer shooter that will most likely be able to move even the legendary Team Fortress 2. After all, even at the beta testing stage, it freely competes with many games of a similar genre.

The proof of this is the interesting and well-developed gameplay, beautiful graphics, convenient controls, a large number of characters and exciting, frenzied battles, which in just a few minutes can give the player a lot of pleasure. And yet there should be some kind of plot, but there is no information about it yet, which means that it will be one of the strongest advantages of the Overwatch game. Well, let's see if this is so.
