For small trees, a 120 mm through-screw mount will suffice. If desired, a wide through hole of the required diameter can be made with a feather drill; a depth of 5 cm is enough for the tree trunk to sit firmly in the crosspiece.

The structure is pulled together with screws screwed into the holes prepared in advance, and is also easily disassembled without taking up extra space during storage. You can place a water tank under the stand so that the spruce stands even longer and continues to fill the house with its unique scent.
Shortly before the new year, in many families, men will begin to think about how to fix a living Christmas tree at home. If the spruce is artificial, most often no questions arise. Old crosses, made of two slats with a hole in the middle, do not give the tree the necessary stability, and when there are small children in the house, this becomes a basic requirement. - The resulting grooves must be covered with glue to securely fix the bars.
- Next, you need to assemble the cross.
- When the glue is completely set, the bars must be additionally fixed with self-tapping screws. This is required to ensure the stability of the structure, since the trees have a considerable mass.
- The final step is to drill a hole in the middle of the resulting cross. Its diameter should be equal to the diameter of the tree.
ATTENTION! If there are no bars at hand, they can be replaced with boards or MDF. Since their thickness is much less than that of the bars, and it is not possible to drill a hole, something must be attached to them to install the Christmas tree. To do this, you can take, for example, an aluminum coffee can. You also need a plate to which the jar will be attached.
In this case:
- the jar needs to be welded to the plate;
- for greater stability, additional stiffening ribs need to be welded to it;
- boards must be glued together;
- then, using self-tapping screws, attach the plate with the can to the cross-piece made of boards or MDF.
After that, the bank needs to be beautifully decorated, for example, with the help of tinsel, or you can make decorative gifts and put them under the tree.
